Choosing The Right M200 Intervention® Package: Rifle, Deployment Kit, Or Military Kit

Please integrate the Leupold optic as a choice along side the NightForce.   Leupold is becoming more a more common choice these days.

We’ve written quite a bit about our signature M200 Intervention® platform’s capabilities, its history, and the proprietary ammunition it’s built around. One thing we haven’t gotten too deep into is the nuts and bolts of how to order it, and the options available to you during the purchase process.

The M200 can be ordered in three ways, depending on how complete you want the system to be upon arrival. The rifle itself remains the foundation across all three tiers, but the package determines how much of the supporting equipment comes with it.

The Standalone M200 Intervention®

The standalone M200 Intervention® long range rifle starts with the platform itself, with few extras. The base purchase includes one barrel in the buyer’s selected caliber, one seven-round magazine, and a custom hard case. Because each M200 is built-to-order, the lead time for the rifle to arrive at your FFL dealer is 10 to 12 weeks.

Mechanically, this is still the full M200 Intervention® platform. The rifle uses a right-hand operated bolt action, a 29.5-inch barrel with 5R rifling, a removable muzzle brake with 7/8×24 TPI threading, and a standard 40 MOA optic base, with 50 and 60 MOA options available.

The stock is a five-position adjustable design with an integrated monopod, and the integrated bipod includes toolless cant adjustment with 45-degree leg positions. These core features come with the platform regardless of whether the buyer chooses the standalone rifle, the Deployment Kit, or the Military Kit.

From there, the standalone order becomes the most open-ended way to build an M200 Intervention®. The buyer starts with the core rifle, then chooses which finish, trigger, suppressor, barrel, case, and support tools belong in the final configuration.

Finish selection is one of the most visible parts of that process. The M200 is available with 16 coating options, including 9 base coating options and 7 premium coatings for buyers who want a more distinctive configuration.

The trigger selection gives the buyer more granular control over how the rifle feels. Available options include a single-stage Timney Elite trigger with either a curved or straight trigger shoe, and a two-stage trigger with the same curved or straight shoe choices.

You can also choose to add on one or more of our custom-made suppressors. We offers suppressors in M2 and M3 configurations, and the suppressor can be coated to match the rifle’s finish or deliberately contrast with it.

The extras menu fills in the remaining support equipment. Buyers can add items such as a Pelican case, night-vision rail, toolkit, cleaning kit, and extra barrel to the order, rather than sourcing them separately later.

The M200 Intervention® Deployment Kit

The Deployment Kit is the next step up for buyers who want the M200 Intervention® configured as a two-caliber system from the beginning. Instead of starting with one barrel and building out later, the Deployment Kit includes a second barrel, a second magazine, a cleaning kit, and 100 rounds of ammunition.

The barrel system is the main event for the Deployment Kit. The M200 uses an operator-level quick-change barrel system, and both caliber barrels use the same bolt and receiver.

That means all you need to do to switch from .375 CheyTac to .408 and vice-versa is swap out the barrels. With the custom toolkit, the operation can be performed in the field, allowing the owner to switch out the barrels in a couple of minutes without taking the rifle to a gunsmith.

The included ammunition helps save time, letting you go straight to the range rather than waiting for an ammo delivery. CheyTac ammunition isn’t as commonly available as mainstream commercial rifle calibers, so receiving 100 rounds with the kit removes a potentially lengthy sourcing step during the first stage of ownership.

The kit also includes a cleaning kit for field maintenance. For a system built to operate at extreme long ranges, consistent cleaning is needed to prevent the minor fouling that can cause performance issues at the platform’s top ranges.

The M200 Intervention® Military Kit

The Military Kit is offered to military customers and gives you a rifle ready to go into the field straight out of the box. It starts with the same rifle system and expands the package into a full configuration that includes the optic, suppressor, night-vision rail, and a Pelican Air case with custom foam.

The included optic is a Nightforce ATACR 7-35x56mm first-focal-plane scope with a Mil-C reticle in a mil-spec configuration. It is paired with a one-piece mil-spec scope mount, so the kit includes the optical hardware typically found in an extreme long-range rifle system.

Alternatively, users can opt instead for Leupold Mark 5HD configurations depending on their requirements or procurement constraints. The Leupold Mark 5HD 7-35×56 M5C3 FFP with Tremor 3 reticle matches the Nightforce ATACR’s magnification range and shares the same Horus Vision reticle system.

The Military Kit also includes the CheyTac CTUSAM3 suppressor with integrated brake. This gives the package a suppressor component designed for the system, rather than requiring the customer to source that component separately.

The kit includes a forward-mounted night vision rail for low-light and nighttime use. The rail comes standard at 40 MOA, with 50 and 60 MOA options available for setups that need more elevation adjustment.

The kit ships in a Pelican Air case, which provides full hard-case protection while weighing less than standard Pelican Protector cases. The custom-cut foam gives each major component its own dedicated space, helping keep the system organized and protected when moved or stored.

Choosing The Right M200 Intervention® Package

All three options begin with the same core rifle. The right choice depends on how complete the buyer wants the system to be upon arrival.

The standalone M200 Intervention® suits buyers who want the rifle first and prefer to select the rest of the system to suit their own requirements. It is the cleanest option for customers who already know which optic, suppressor, case, or field accessories they want to use.

If you already know you want both calibers, the Deployment Kit saves you the trouble of ordering the second barrel and ammunition separately. Everything you need to start shooting in both .408 and .375 is in the box.

The Military Kit is for eligible military customers who need the most complete configuration. It brings the M200 Intervention® together with the Nightforce optic, mil-spec mount, CTUSAM3 suppressor, night-vision rail, and Pelican Air case, so the system arrives as a full package rather than a rifle waiting to be built out.

No matter how you order your M200, our team is ready to provide full support for every step of the process. If you’re interested in becoming an owner of the Intervention but aren’t sure which selection works best for you, contact us today.
